Ingredients
360mlfresh grapefruit juice (pink or ruby red)
45mlhot honey syrup (store-bought or homemade)
360mlsparkling water (e.g. Topo Chico)
1cupice cubes
1grapefruit slice or mint sprig (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Juice the grapefruits and pour about 6 oz (180 ml) per serving into a mixing glass or pitcher.
Add ¾ to 1 oz (22–30 ml) of hot honey syrup per serving and stir to combine. Taste and adjust for spice or sweetness.
Fill two tall glasses with ice. Pour the grapefruit and honey mixture over the ice evenly.
Slowly top off each glass with about 180 ml (6 oz) of sparkling water. Stir gently once to mix.
Optional: Rim glasses with Tajín and garnish with a grapefruit slice or mint sprig. Serve immediately.
Notes
Customize the sweetness or spice level by adjusting the hot honey syrup. Rim glasses with Tajín for extra flair, or add a splash of club soda for more fizz. Try freezing grapefruit juice in ice cube trays to intensify flavor without dilution.
